HowsMyApp is designed for founders, indie hackers, and teams building applications with AI tools such as Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, Replit, v0, and Claude Code. If you built your app with AI, HowsMyApp helps you verify it works before users see it.
You enter your website URL, and HowsMyApp automatically crawls your pages, tests interactions, checks forms, validates navigation, and analyzes the mobile experience. We simulate real user behavior to find broken flows, missing states, layout issues, and other frontend problems. Within minutes, you get a comprehensive report with actionable findings.
No. HowsMyApp never accesses your source code. We test your website exactly as a browser would — loading pages, clicking elements, and observing behavior. We cannot see your server-side code, database, or internal files.
No installation required. HowsMyApp is entirely web-based. Just enter your URL and we handle the rest. No browser extensions, CLI tools, or SDKs needed.
HowsMyApp scans publicly accessible URLs. If your app is behind authentication, you can configure authenticated scanning in your account settings. We support cookie-based and header-based authentication for protected environments.
Most scans complete in 1-3 minutes, depending on the number of pages on your site. Small sites (under 10 pages) typically finish within 60 seconds. Larger sites may take up to 5 minutes.
HowsMyApp is designed to minimize false positives by simulating real user interactions rather than relying on heuristic checks. However, no scanning tool is perfect. We recommend reviewing each finding and verifying it before making changes. We continuously improve our detection algorithms.
Yes. HowsMyApp offers a free plan with limited scans per month, basic reports, scan history, and public report sharing. A Pro plan with unlimited scans, monitoring, team features, and priority support is coming soon.
Yes, we capture screenshots during scans as evidence for identified issues. Screenshots are stored securely and are only visible to you and anyone you explicitly share reports with. You can delete individual scans or your entire account at any time.
Yes. You can generate a public link for any scan report. Public reports show findings, scores, and screenshots but hide your personal information, email, and account details. You can disable sharing at any time.
Behind the scenes, HowsMyApp launches a browser instance, navigates to your website, discovers internal pages, and systematically tests each page for issues. We check for broken navigation, non-functional buttons, form validation errors, layout issues, missing empty states, infinite loading spinners, and more. All testing is read-only — we never modify your website or submit real data.
